Interview with Guinness Record holder Sinead Kane
In this episode, I speak with Sinead Kane. Sinead’s a visually impaired athlete who lives in Youghal, Ireland. She holds the Guinness World Record for being the first visually impaired person to complete seven marathons on seven continents in less than seven days. Sinead also holds the Guinness World Record for running the furthest distance by a female on a treadmill in 12 hours. In our conversation, we discussed what sparked her interest to start running at age 30 and what obstacles she faced as a visually impaired runner. We also discuss her journey in accomplishing her two Worlds Records and her experience running the Volcano marathon.
